Wedoany.com Report-Dec.10, Boeing delivered 44 commercial aircraft in November, a decrease from 53 units in October, according to the company's monthly update released on Tuesday. European competitor Airbus delivered 72 aircraft during the same period.

The November total included 32 737 MAX single-aisle jets, among them five units to Southwest Airlines. Wide-body deliveries comprised six 787 Dreamliners (including two 787-10s for TAAG Angola Airlines), two 777 freighters (one each to Turkish Airlines and Aerotranscargo), and four 767s.

Boeing recorded 164 gross orders and 38 cancellations in November, resulting in 126 net new orders. The month's highlights featured a significant boost for the long-delayed 777X programme, which received 74 orders and is scheduled to enter service in 2027.

Emirates, the 777X launch customer, placed an additional order for 65 aircraft at the Dubai Airshow, raising its total commitment to 270 jets in the family. China Airlines of Taiwan ordered nine more 777X aircraft, complementing its earlier purchase of 14 units this year.

The 787 Dreamliner secured 30 orders, including 15 from Gulf Air, eight from Uzbekistan Airways, six from Etihad Airways, and one from an undisclosed customer. The 737 MAX received 43 orders, all from unidentified buyers. Additional orders covered 15 KC-46 tankers for the U.S. Air Force and two 777 freighters.

Cancellations included 15 777X orders from Etihad Airways (leaving the carrier with 10 remaining), four 787s from Air Canada, and five 737 MAX units from Comair.

Through the first eleven months of the year, Boeing has delivered 537 aircraft: 396 737 MAX, 74 787s, 33 777s, and 28 767s. The company booked 1,000 gross orders and achieved 908 net orders after cancellations and conversions. Its firm backlog stood at 6,019 aircraft at the end of November.

Boeing Chief Financial Officer Jay Malave stated last week that the company anticipates generating positive cash flow in 2026, supported by a planned increase in aircraft deliveries. The November performance reflects continued recovery in production rates and strengthening order intake across Boeing's commercial product lines.
