The initiative expands the company's established portfolio of electric material handling equipment, providing customers with integrated charging options for seamless operations.
The collaboration enables Kalmar to offer advanced chargers designed for full compatibility with its electric machines. The lineup includes movable chargers, fixed integrated stations, and distributed charging systems suitable for various fleet sizes. A megawatt charging system will be deployed at DP World London Gateway to support a fleet of Kalmar electric straddle carriers scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2026.
Kalmar works closely with customers to create customized charging packages that match specific operational requirements. Solutions range from compact, flexible units for smaller fleets to scalable distributed systems for large-scale applications. The full range is available worldwide.

Last week, Kalmar signed a new 10-year strategic supply agreement with Patrick Terminals, further demonstrating its commitment to supporting customers in the transition to sustainable port and terminal operations. The expanded charging portfolio positions Kalmar as a comprehensive provider of electrified material handling systems, helping operators worldwide achieve reliable, environmentally friendly performance across their fleets.
