This solution combines Anritsu's ShockLine™ MS46524B Vector Network Analyzer with Tektronix® 6 Series MSO Oscilloscopes, aiming to validate automotive Ethernet components for compliance with industry standards.

As functions like Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) and infotainment systems place higher demands on in-vehicle network data transmission, the automotive industry is shifting towards Ethernet-based network architectures and needs to ensure compliance with standards such as IEEE. This automotive Ethernet validation solution addresses challenges like signal integrity testing by integrating frequency domain analysis and automated compliance testing.

Engineers can use the Vector Network Analyzer in this system to perform high-precision S-parameter measurements to evaluate key metrics such as return loss. The measurement data can be transferred to the Tektronix oscilloscope, where supporting software validates the results and generates compliance reports. This system provides component and cable manufacturers with a flexible solution for automotive Ethernet validation, helping to accelerate the development and certification processes of related systems.
