India's exports of iron ore and pellets saw significant growth in November. The total export volume reached 2.76 million tons, a month-on-month increase of 27.2%. Among these, iron ore exports were 2.51 million tons, up 28.1% month-on-month; pellet exports were 250,000 tons, up 19.1% month-on-month. This export volume represents the highest monthly level since March.

The growth in India's iron ore exports is driven by multiple factors. Firstly, the downward adjustment of benchmark iron ore grades in seaborne trade has enhanced the market competitiveness of Indian raw materials. Secondly, rising international iron ore prices and stable overseas demand have jointly boosted trade activity. Major Indian mining companies increased shipments during this period, with some cargoes from specific mining areas even receiving premiums. In November, lump ore shipments through west coast ports also rose.
