Unium Biosciences' product portfolio is built on over 500 repeated field trials conducted across various crops and growing conditions, accumulating solid performance data. This transaction enables HELM to gain more comprehensive registration, laboratory, and production capabilities, which will facilitate the advancement of regulatory approval processes in key markets such as the EU, North America, South America, and Africa.
Current crop production faces multiple challenges, including the intensification of pest and disease problems, increasingly stringent regulations on traditional chemical products, and rising market demand for low-chemical or chemical-free solutions. United Nations data indicates that by 2050, the global population is projected to approach 9 billion, driving an increase in food demand while per capita arable land continues to shrink.
