FPT specializes in designing, producing, and selling powertrains and solutions for on-road and off-road vehicles, marine applications, and power generation. This honor highlights the commitment of both brands to promoting sustainability in the transportation industry.

The Sustainable Truck of the Year award was established in 2016 by the Italian trade magazine Vado e Torno and is judged annually by an independent jury of professional journalists. The evaluation criteria cover sustainability and efficiency, including emission reduction, safety performance, driving comfort, and overall environmental impact.

The XCURSOR 13 NG is a high-performance natural gas engine on the market, delivering 500 horsepower and 2,200 Nm of torque. Sustainability is a key advantage of this engine, playing a significant role in Iveco Group's decarbonization plan, with CO2 emissions reduced by up to 8% compared to the MY22 version. Through FPT's multipoint stoichiometric combustion technology, the engine also shows significant improvements in weight reduction, fuel consumption reduction, and noise reduction.
