The industrial machinery manufacturer Fuller Technology has announced that it will establish its global headquarters near Allentown, Pennsylvania, to support its business expansion plans. Formerly known as FLSmidth Cement, the company was restructured into Fuller Technology after being acquired by Pacific Avenue Capital Partners last year and decided to continue using its original U.S. headquarters location.

Fuller Technology specializes in the manufacturing and maintenance of equipment such as pumps, compressors, and rotary feeders for the cement industry, refineries, LPG terminals, wastewater treatment plants, and cold storage facilities. The company also plans to increase its workforce at a 122,000-square-foot plant in Northampton County, which began operations last year, to enhance production capacity. Currently, Fuller employs approximately 200 people at its Pennsylvania plant and headquarters.
Globally, Fuller Technology has nearly 2,000 employees and expects to hire an additional 165 people within the next year to support its growth goals. The company maintains an extensive global business network, including newly established offices in India and Denmark, demonstrating its continued commitment to international markets.
The history of Fuller Technology dates back to 1857, when it was originally named McKee-Fuller Foundry Company and was acquired by FLSmidth in 1990. The company produces the famous Fuller-Kinyon pump, invented by Alonso Kinyon during World War I, which uses air to push powdered materials through pipelines, effectively preventing explosion risks. This pump is widely used for transporting materials such as coal dust.
