On February 11, 2026, Beijing Time, during the low-altitude demonstration verification of the Long March-10 carrier rocket system and the maximum dynamic pressure abort flight test of the Mengzhou manned spacecraft system, the rocket completed its low-altitude demonstration verification flight and safely splashed down at sea.

This morning (the 13th), the maritime search and recovery team completed the salvage and recovery mission of the rocket's first stage. This marks China's first sea-based search and recovery operation for a carrier rocket, which is of significant importance for advancing the development of reusable launch vehicle technology.

It is reported that the Long March-10 carrier rocket involved in this test is primarily intended for manned lunar exploration missions and also supports operations of near-Earth space stations. The first stage of its co-developed variant, the Long March-10A rocket, is designed with reusability capabilities.
