en.Wedoany.com Reported - The ZPMC brand experience site has been included in the first batch of 30 recommended "Follow the Brand to Travel" experience destinations officially announced by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, making it a new destination for China's industrial tourism.
ZPMC's Changxing Branch is the company's largest core production base and an open-air quayside crane museum located along the Yangtze River. Situated on Changxing Island in Shanghai, the base boasts 5.5 kilometers of deep-water coastline and covers an area of 5,000 mu (approximately 333 hectares). Each year, over 200 units of port core equipment, including quayside cranes and ship unloaders, set sail from here to major ports worldwide.

The first stop on the tour is the No. 0 Offshore Engineering Wharf at the Changxing Base. The river breeze carries the scent of steel, with hundreds of neatly arranged, brightly colored quayside cranes standing in rows along the riverbank, earning the site the nickname "Quayside Crane Museum." The second stop is the ZPMC Digital Exhibition Hall, which is divided into three functional areas—Humanities, Smart Technology, and Comprehensive—featuring ten themed exhibition zones. It integrates modern industrial production with corporate culture, showcasing the history and technological achievements of China's port machinery. The third stop is the newly completed ZPMC Safety Experience Center in 2024, which combines safety culture promotion, warning education, and hands-on job skills training, utilizing digital technologies such as VR, MR, virtual simulation, and physical scenario simulations. The fourth stop is the factory's ecological landscape pond, which is actually an initial rainwater collection and treatment system, including seven reservoirs and a 5.4-kilometer-long open diversion channel, enabling full-process purification of rainwater and wastewater. The fifth stop is a 99.9-meter-high observation platform, offering a panoramic view of the Changxing production base and the 5.5-kilometer Yangtze River coastline, where equipment awaiting shipment is neatly lined up along the shore.

ZPMC products have covered 111 countries and regions, maintaining the top position in the global port machinery market share for 29 consecutive years.
