The company focuses on high-, medium-, and low-voltage power cables. It has 2 35kV high-voltage production lines and 1 110kV production line, equipped with German SIKORA eccentricity measuring instruments and full-process online monitoring equipment, and has a Class 100,000 clean air shower and changing workshop. It can produce products in multiple specifications from 6/10kV to 64/110kV, and also supplies mineral fire-resistant, photovoltaic, wind power, control, overhead insulated, rubber-sheathed, steel-core aluminum stranded wire, and halogen-free low-smoke flame-retardant cables; at the same time, it has also deployed integrated services for photovoltaic mounting systems, new energy intelligent electronic control, photovoltaic inverters, solar photovoltaic modules, and power station operation and maintenance.

Products serve State Grid, China National Petroleum Corporation, China Energy, China State Construction, PowerChina, and Urumqi Tianshan International Airport T4 Terminal, and have participated in more than 1,000 key projects, including the Olympic Sports Center, Six Pavilions and One Center (Urumqi Cultural Center), urban utility tunnels, new energy, coal-to-electricity, and real estate projects. The company has long-term cooperation with Country Garden, Evergrande, Vanke, and others, and has the capacity for large-volume supply for large-scale infrastructure and new energy projects.

The company has introduced an internationally advanced electron accelerator irradiation device production line and independently owns 2 electron accelerator irradiation device production lines. In October 2022, the electron accelerator irradiation workshop was completed, filling the gap in high-performance cables in Xinjiang. Irradiation-crosslinked cables have significantly improved aging resistance, high-temperature resistance, and corrosion resistance, adapt to harsh environments such as plateaus, and can have a service life of up to 30 years. In 2021, it was awarded the title of national-level specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative "Little Giant" enterprise, the only one in the cable industry among the five northwestern provinces, and it also holds honors including national-level high-tech enterprise, national-level green factory, the 2025 Seventh Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region People's Government Quality Award, and the Autonomous Region Manufacturing Innovation Center, as well as 60 R&D patents. The company deepens industry-university-research cooperation, jointly building an industry-university-research base with Xinjiang University and the Autonomous Region Quality Inspection Institute, and has cooperated with Xinjiang University to establish the only high-end equipment manufacturing innovation center in the autonomous region, building laboratories for shielding, bundled vertical combustion, and fire-resistant experimental testing, and constructing a comprehensive scientific research and testing system.

Populus Euphratica Cable is based in the domestic market, with some products entering the Central Asian market.
