I. Basic Definition and Model Designation
Model Breakdown
1. YJLV 26/35kV
2. YJ: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation
3. L: Aluminum conductor
4. V: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) outer sheath
5. 26/35kV: Rated phase voltage 26kV, system nominal line voltage 35kV, high-voltage distribution cable, standard maximum operating voltage 40.5kV
II. Core Technical Parameters and Operating Characteristics
1. Applicable standard: GB/T 12706.3-2020
2. Long-term permissible conductor operating temperature: 90°C
3. Short-circuit 5s limit withstand temperature: 250°C
4. Minimum installation ambient temperature: ≥0°C; preheating of cable required for low-temperature installation
5. Minimum bending radius: ≥20 times the cable outer diameter (35kV thick insulation; small-angle bending prohibited to avoid insulation cracking)
6. Electrical test requirements: power-frequency withstand voltage 91kV/5min, lightning impulse withstand voltage 185kV
7. Product characteristics
Aluminum conductor is lightweight and lower in procurement cost than copper-core YJV 26/35kV, suitable for long-distance large-capacity power transmission;
Unarmored, without resistance to mechanical impact or compression, unable to withstand gravel extrusion or heavy-object rolling;
PVC outer sheath is moisture-proof and resistant to conventional atmospheric aging.
8. Installation restrictions: Not suitable for direct burial in soil, not for outdoor installation without protection.
III. Main Application Scenarios
1. Suitable for AC 50Hz 35kV high-voltage three-phase power transmission and distribution with fixed installation:
2. Cable trays inside substations, enclosed cable tunnels, indoor cable trenches
3. Indoor corridors and protected cable tray transmission lines in photovoltaic and wind power booster stations
4. Indoor high-voltage distribution channels in large industrial plants, smelting parks, and data centers
5. Main trunk lines with full cable tray protection in urban 35kV switching stations
Prohibited application scenarios:
Direct burial in underground soil, beneath roads, unprotected outdoor areas, locations prone to impact and extrusion; for such conditions, select YJLV22 26/35kV steel-tape armored cable; for vertical shafts / large-drop tension scenarios, select YJLV32.
IV. Standard Specifications
Mainstream core count: 3 cores (general for three-phase distribution); single-core construction may be used for ultra-large capacity circuits
Common aluminum conductor cross-sections (mm²): 50, 70, 95, 120, 150, 185, 240, 300, 400, 500, 630
