I. Basic Definition and Model Designation
Model: YJLV 8.7/15kV
- YJ: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation
- L: Aluminum conductor
- V: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) outer sheath
- 8.7/15kV: Rated voltage (phase voltage 8.7kV, line voltage 15kV, medium-voltage cable commonly used in 10kV distribution systems)
Important: No armor layer, cannot withstand external mechanical pressure, cannot be directly buried underground
II. Core Technical Parameters and Operating Characteristics
1. Standard: GB/T 12706.2-2020
2. Maximum long-term conductor operating temperature: 90℃
3. Maximum allowable temperature during short-time short circuit (≤5s): 250℃
4. Minimum installation ambient temperature: ≥0℃
5. Minimum bending radius: ≥15 times the cable outer diameter
6. Electrical characteristics: Aluminum conductor is lightweight and lower in cost than copper-core YJV, with conductivity meeting distribution requirements
7. Installation requirements: Unarmored, cannot withstand impact, extrusion, or external force damage
III. Main Application Scenarios
Suitable for fixed installation in AC 50Hz, 10kV three-phase power transmission and distribution lines:
1. Urban power grids, industrial park cable tunnels, enclosed cable trenches, and cable trays
2. Medium-voltage distribution lines in substations, photovoltaic power stations, and wind farms
3. Indoor/channel power transmission within factory areas and large mining areas
Prohibited use: Direct burial in soil, under roads, and areas prone to mechanical damage; for such conditions, select YJLV22 8.7/15kV steel tape armored cable
IV. Standard Specifications
Mainstream core count: 3 cores
Common conductor cross-sections (mm²): 50, 70, 95, 120, 150, 185, 240, 300, 400
