• Application

SCST-252 methanol synthesis catalyst is mainly suitable for methanol synthesis units using natural gas, coke oven gas, refinery gas, naphtha, coal, oilfield gas, etc. as feedstock under pressure conditions of 8~15MPa, mainly concentrated in synthesis ammonia co-production methanol units.

The main reactions are as follows:

CO +2H₂= CH₃OH         +90.69kJ/mol

CO₂+3H₂= CH₃OH+H₂O    +49.53 kJ/mol

• Application Fields

Coal to methanol units;

Coke oven gas to methanol units;

Natural gas to methanol units;

Oilfield gas, refinery gas, naphtha and other synthesis gas to methanol units.

• Catalyst Characteristics

Low active temperature for use, easy thermal balance;

Stable catalyst use, little affected by thermal fluctuations, easy to control the reaction of the entire bed;

Especially high alcohol production in the middle and later stages of the use cycle, slow decline in conversion rate;

Obvious effect in high production intensity axial-radial reactors;

Low operating costs. Due to fewer impurities in the catalyst, high activity and thermal stability, the service life can be extended by more than 10%.

• Packaging, Storage and Transportation

The finished catalyst is packed in plastic drums or iron drums lined with plastic bags. During transportation and storage, it must be protected from moisture, fire, inverted placement and strictly prohibited from chemical contamination. Rolling or impact is strictly prohibited during handling; when stored outdoors, place sleepers at the bottom and cover with canvas for rain protection; it can also be packed in ton bags according to user requirements.
