- Application and Principle
The secondary reforming catalyst is a sintered catalyst with nickel as the active component and alumina and calcium oxide as the carrier. It is mainly used in the reforming section of synthesis ammonia, methanol and hydrogen production units with hydrocarbon gases such as natural gas, coke oven gas and oilfield associated gas as feedstock; it is also commonly used in the pure oxygen or oxygen-enriched reforming section of methanol and synthesis ammonia units with natural gas and coke oven gas as feedstock.
- Catalyst Characteristics
Low impurities in the catalyst body, strong heat resistance;
High conversion rate, 10% higher than domestic similar catalysts under the same temperature and steam-to-gas ratio conditions;
Better heat transfer performance, strong resistance to high-temperature scouring, no sintering after long-term operation at 1350°C;
Higher active components than domestic similar products, higher conversion rate;
Long service life, more than 4 years under long-term high-temperature atmosphere.
