Iron-Manganese Dual-Function Fine Desulfurizer SCST-301 High Strength Desulfurizer

 

I. Applications

SCST-301 new iron-manganese dual-function fine desulfurizer is widely used for fine removal of organic sulfur and inorganic sulfur in natural gas, coke oven gas, refinery gas, coal gasification and other units. Organic sulfides are hydrogenolyzed, hydrolyzed and thermally decomposed into H2S under the catalytic action of the desulfurizer, and then H2S reacts with the active metal oxides in the desulfurizer to form metal sulfides to achieve the purpose of removal.

The main reactions are as follows:

Hydrogenolysis

RSH + H2 = H2S + RH

RSR + H2 = H2S + RH + RH

RSSR + 3H2 = 2H2S + RH + RH

H2S Removal

H2S + MO = MS + H2O (M represents metal)

 

Hydrolysis

RSH + H2O = H2S + ROH

RSR + H2O = H2S + 2ROH

Thermal Decomposition

2CH3SH △→ 2H2S + C2H4

CH3SCH3 △→ H2S + C2H4

IV. Catalyst Characteristics

Resistant to high pressure and high space velocity, long catalyst operating life under high pressure and high space velocity operation;

New production process, large catalyst sulfur capacity, sulfur capacity exceeds 15%;

Large specific surface area, high conversion rate, high selectivity, strong conversion ability for organic sulfur such as thiophene that requires high-temperature conversion;

Has excellent activity, stability and good mechanical strength and structural stability.

 

V. Packaging, Storage and Transportation

The finished catalyst is packaged in plastic drums or iron drums lined with plastic bags. During transportation and storage, it must be protected from moisture, fire, inversion and strictly prohibited from chemical contamination. Rolling or impact is strictly prohibited during handling; when stored outdoors, the bottom should be padded with sleepers and covered with canvas for rain protection; it can also be packaged in ton bags according to user needs.
