  • Application

SCST-311 cobalt-molybdenum hydrodesulfurization catalyst is used for organic sulfur removal from feedstocks in fertilizer plants, methanol plants, refinery hydrogen production units, and ammonia addition desulfurization units using natural gas, oilfield gas, refinery gas and light oil as feedstock, for fine desulfurization of various hydrocarbons and gases. It can also be used for hydrodesulfurization of light petroleum products, hydrofining of reformer feedstock in refineries, etc. This product has high hydroconversion rates for mercaptans, sulfides, thiophene, COS, CS2, etc. The main reactions are as follows:

RSH+H2=RH+H2S

C4H4S+4H2=C4H10+ H2S

CS2+4H2= CH4+2H2S

R1SR2+2H2=R1H-R2H+H2

COS+H2= CO +H2S

  • Catalyst Characteristics

Molybdenum-cobalt-promoter ternary active components, alumina-titanium oxide composite carrier;

Excellent activity, stability, and good mechanical strength and structural stability;

Low activation temperature, can be independently applied to high-olefin feedstocks in adiabatic reactors;

High catalyst strength, not easy to pulverize, resistant to high pressure and high space velocity;

Large pore volume and specific surface area, uniform distribution of active components, good stability, high conversion rate, etc.

 

  • Packaging, Storage and Transportation

The finished catalyst is packed in plastic drums or iron drums lined with plastic bags. During transportation and storage, it must be protected from moisture, fire, inverted placement and strictly prohibited from chemical contamination. Rolling or impact is strictly prohibited during handling; when stored outdoors, place sleepers at the bottom and cover with canvas for rain protection; it can also be packed in ton bags according to user requirements.
