• Applications

SCST-312 organic sulfur hydrogenation catalyst is suitable for the hydrogenation conversion of organic sulfur in coke oven gas, coal, catalytic dry gas, natural gas, etc., and also hydrogenates and saturates the olefins contained in the gas to protect the normal use of various subsequent catalysts. This product has a high hydrogenation conversion rate for mercaptans, thioethers, thiophene, COS, CS₂, etc. The main reactions are as follows:

RSH+H₂= RH+H₂S

R₁SR₂+2H₂=R₁H-R₂H+ H₂S

CS₂+4H₂= CH₄ +2H₂S

C₄H₄S+4H₂ =C₄H₁₀+H₂S

COS+H₂ = CO+H₂S

• Packaging, Storage and Transportation

The finished catalyst is packaged in plastic drums or iron drums lined with plastic bags. During transportation and storage, it must be protected from moisture, fire, inversion and strictly prohibited from chemical contamination. Rolling or impact is strictly prohibited during handling; when stored outdoors, the bottom should be padded with sleepers and covered with canvas for rain protection; it can also be packaged in ton bags according to user needs.
