  • Application

SCST-204 and SCST-205 reforming catalysts are mainly suitable for light hydrocarbon gases such as natural gas, coke oven gas, blast furnace gas, oilfield associated gas, catalytic dry gas, coking dry gas, and light oil liquids as feedstock, for the reforming hydrogen production section of synthesis ammonia, methanol and hydrogen production units.

This type of catalyst is the latest reforming catalyst developed by Sichuan Shutai Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., with excellent reforming activity, anti-carbon deposition performance and high mechanical strength, as well as a lower potassium loss rate. It can withstand high space velocity, has large operating flexibility, and strong adaptability to furnace types (can be used for both top-fired and side-fired reforming furnaces); the product has high comprehensive performance.

The main reactions are as follows:

CnHm+nH2O==nCO+(n+m/2)H2(endothermic)

CO+H2O==CO2+H2(exothermic)

CO+3H2==CH4+H2O(exothermic)

  • Application Fields

Natural gas to synthesis ammonia, methanol, hydrogen units;

Coke oven gas to synthesis ammonia, methanol, hydrogen units;

Methane and higher hydrocarbon reforming to hydrogen units from catalytic and coking dry gas (better results when combined with our company's SCST-111 pre-reforming catalyst);

Oilfield gas, naphtha, liquefied gas, refinery gas, etc. as feedstock for formaldehyde, synthesis ammonia, hydrogen units (better results when combined with our company's SCST-111 pre-reforming catalyst);

 

  • Catalyst Characteristics

Strong anti-carbon performance: SCST-204 catalyst adds potassium alkali as anti-carbon promoter, greatly improving the surface alkalinity and hydrophilicity of the catalyst;

Low operating resistance, and it basically does not change until replacement;

Excellent catalyst activity and thermal stability: high dispersion of active component nickel and stable crystal form;

Smooth appearance, easy to load.

 

  • Packaging, Storage and Transportation

The finished catalyst is packed in plastic drums or iron drums lined with plastic bags. During transportation and storage, it must be protected from moisture, fire, inverted placement and strictly prohibited from chemical contamination. Rolling or impact is strictly prohibited during handling; when stored outdoors, place sleepers at the bottom and cover with canvas for rain protection; it can also be packed in ton bags according to user requirements.
