- Application
SCST-401 methanol steam reforming to hydrogen catalyst is mainly used for the reforming and shift reaction of methanol and water, mainly generating H2, CO2 and a small amount of CO, to produce the required hydrogen. The main reactions are as follows:
CH3OH+H20=CO2+3H2 -49.5 kJ/mol
CH3OH=CO+2H2 -90.7 kJ/mol
CO+H20=CO2+H2 +41.19 kJ/mol

- Application Fields
Various methanol steam reaction to hydrogen units in oil refining, metallurgy, medicine, dyes, gas, glass and other industries.
- Catalyst Characteristics
High single-pass conversion rate, the concentration of the water washing tower is 0 in the initial stage and less than 5% in the final stage;
High strength, good water resistance, not easy to pulverize, low operating resistance;
Low reaction temperature, energy saving, saving heat of heat transfer oil and extending the life of heat transfer oil;
Few side reactions, not easy to form wax, lower content of methane, dimethyl ether and carbon monoxide in the outlet gas;
Higher active components.
- Packaging, Storage and Transportation
The finished catalyst is packed in plastic drums or iron drums lined with plastic bags. During transportation and storage, it must be protected from moisture, fire, inverted placement and strictly prohibited from chemical contamination. Rolling or impact is strictly prohibited during handling; when stored outdoors, place sleepers at the bottom and cover with canvas for rain protection; it can also be packed in ton bags according to user requirements.
