  • Application

SCST-251 methanol synthesis catalyst is mainly suitable for methanol synthesis units using natural gas, coke oven gas, refinery gas, naphtha, coal, oilfield gas, etc. as feedstock under pressure conditions of 12~32 MPa.

The main reactions are as follows:

CO+2H2=CH3OH            +90.69kJ/mol

CO2+ 3H2 = CH3OH+H2O          + 49.53kJ/mol

  • Application Fields

Coal to methanol units;

Coke oven gas to methanol units;

Natural gas to methanol units;

Oilfield gas, refinery gas, naphtha and other synthesis gas to methanol units.

 

  • Catalyst Characteristics

High conversion rate, good low-temperature activity, resistant to high pressure and high space velocity;

High maximum space-time yield of the catalyst;

High strength, especially high strength after reduction, no pulverization under high pressure and high space velocity scouring;

Nano-scale Zn-AI spinel as carrier, the active phase is loaded on the spinel carrier, thereby greatly improving the activity and thermal stability of the catalyst.

 

  • Packaging, Storage and Transportation

The finished catalyst is packed in plastic drums or iron drums lined with plastic bags. During transportation and storage, it must be protected from moisture, fire, inverted placement and strictly prohibited from chemical contamination. Rolling or impact is strictly prohibited during handling; when stored outdoors, place sleepers at the bottom and cover with canvas for rain protection; it can also be packed in ton bags according to user requirements.
