- Application
SCST-221 CO medium (high) temperature shift catalyst is used to convert carbon monoxide in synthesis gas such as natural gas, refinery gas, coke oven gas and blast furnace gas into carbon dioxide, making the carbon monoxide (dry gas) in the gas less than 3%, thereby achieving the purpose of gas purification. The main reaction is as follows:

- Application Fields
Natural gas to synthesis ammonia, methanol, hydrogen production units;
Coke oven gas to synthesis ammonia, methanol, hydrogen production units;
Catalytic dry gas, coking dry gas to synthesis ammonia, methanol, hydrogen production units;
Oilfield gas, refinery gas, naphtha, etc. as feedstock for methanol, synthesis ammonia, hydrogen production units;
CO purification units in coal-to-synthesis gas.
- Catalyst Characteristics
Can adapt to low steam-to-carbon ratio to achieve energy saving and consumption reduction. Under the same steam-to-gas ratio operating conditions, the conversion rate is higher;
The active composition of the catalyst is γ-Fe2O3, whose crystal phase structure and activation energy are better than α-Fe2O3. Therefore, the low-temperature activity
and particle strength of this catalyst are both high.
Strong resistance to steam condensation. In the process of use, short-term liquid or water entrainment has no effect on the catalyst;
New production process, no need for separate sulfur release, sulfur release ends when temperature rise and reduction ends;
High strength, stronger heat resistance.
The SCST-221 catalyst made by special process also has the characteristics of resistance to steam condensation (i.e., resistance to water boiling), thus improving the risk resistance of use.
The sulfur content of the catalyst body is generally lower than 250ppm. There is no need to arrange special sulfur release time during start-up, saving customers' start-up costs.
- Packaging, Storage and Transportation
The finished catalyst is packed in plastic drums or iron drums lined with plastic bags. During transportation and storage, it must be protected from moisture, fire, inverted placement and strictly prohibited from chemical contamination. Rolling or impact is strictly prohibited during handling; when stored outdoors, place sleepers at the bottom and cover with canvas for rain protection; it can also be packed in ton bags according to user requirements.
