Applications:
- An excellent medium-temperature initiator for low-density polyethylene (LDPE), commonly used in tubular or autoclave processes. It can be combined with initiator PV (tert-butyl peroxy pivalate), OT (tert-butyl peroxy-2-ethylhexanoate), initiator TBPD (tert-butyl peroxy neodecanoate), and diisopropylbenzene hydroperoxide to form a composite catalyst system for improved polymerization results.
- In the suspension polymerization process of styrene, the combined use of Initiator C and benzoyl peroxide (BPO) is the most common initiator system for styrene or styrene copolymers.
- In the polymerization of acrylates, Initiator C is used to replace azo initiators, reducing the toxicity in the resin. It can also be used in the polymerization of vinyl acetate.
- It is a high-temperature curing agent for unsaturated polyester resins. This product is widely used in the curing process of unsaturated polyester resins in applications such as fiberglass-reinforced plastics, coatings, and adhesives, including molding processes such as SMC, BMC, and DMC. It is the preferred curing agent for high-temperature curing of unsaturated polyester resins, providing excellent curing results for both compression molding and pultrusion processes. Even better results can be achieved when combined with initiators such as BPO, TBPEH, and CH to form a composite initiator system.
- It is a good vulcanizing agent for most rubbers (except isobutylene-based rubbers).
- Adding it to petroleum products significantly increases their cetane number.
Packaging and Transportation:
Our factory's standard packaging is 25 kg polyethylene packaging. We can also supply products in packaging sizes according to customer requirements; customers may specify their needs when placing orders.
Storage Precautions:
- Store in a cool, well-ventilated space with a warehouse temperature not exceeding 30°C.
- Keep away from fire sources and heat. Store separately from acids, reducing agents, flammable materials, combustible materials, and reducing agents.
- Lighting and ventilation facilities in the storage area should be explosion-proof, with switches installed outdoors.
- Handle with care during transportation to prevent damage to packaging and containers. Avoid impact and vibration. Take personal protective measures during repackaging and handling operations.
- Customers are advised to carefully read our factory's Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) before storing, transporting, and using this product.
Product Shelf Life:
When stored and transported in strict accordance with the conditions recommended by the manufacturer, product quality is guaranteed for six months.
Fire Protection:
- This product may decompose violently when heated and can catch fire fiercely. For small fires involving small quantities, extinguish promptly with foam or dry powder fire extinguishers.
- For large fires, evacuate to a safe distance immediately and extinguish with water hoses. Notify the fire department for handling.
