Applications:
- An excellent medium-temperature initiator for low-density polyethylene (LDPE), commonly used in tubular or autoclave processes. It can be combined with initiator PV (tert-butyl peroxypivalate), OT (tert-butyl peroxy-2-ethylhexanoate), initiator TBPD (tert-butyl peroxyneodecanoate), and diisopropylbenzene hydroperoxide to form a composite catalyst system for improved polymerization results.
2. In styrene suspension polymerization processes, the combined use of Initiator C and benzoyl peroxide (BPO) is the most common initiator system for styrene or styrene copolymers.
- In acrylate polymerization processes, Initiator C replaces azo initiators, reducing toxicity in the resin. It can also be used in the polymerization of vinyl acetate.
- It is a high-temperature curing agent for unsaturated polyester resins. This product is widely used in the curing of unsaturated polyesters in fiberglass-reinforced plastics, coatings, adhesives, etc., such as in the molding processes of SMC, BMC, and DMC. It is the preferred curing agent for high-temperature curing of unsaturated polyesters, providing excellent curing results for both compression molding and pultrusion. When combined with initiators such as BPO, TBPEH, and CH to form a composite initiator system, even better results are achieved.
- It is a good vulcanizing agent for most rubbers (except isobutylene-based rubbers).
- Adding it to fuel oil significantly increases its cetane number.
Packaging and Transportation:
Our standard packaging is 25 kg polyethylene packaging. Packaging sizes can also be supplied according to customer requirements; customers may specify their needs when placing an order.
Storage Precautions:
- Store in a cool, well-ventilated area with a warehouse temperature not exceeding 30°C.
- Keep away from ignition sources and heat. Store separately from acids, reducing agents, flammable materials, combustible materials, and reducing agents.
- Lighting and ventilation facilities in the storage area should be explosion-proof, with switches located outdoors.
- Handle with care during transportation to prevent damage to packaging and containers. Avoid impact and vibration. Personal protective equipment should be worn during repackaging and handling operations.
- Customers are advised to carefully read our Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) before storing, transporting, and using this product.
Product Shelf Life:
When stored and transported in strict accordance with the conditions specified by the manufacturer, product quality is guaranteed for six months.
Fire Protection:
- This product may decompose violently when heated and can catch fire fiercely. For small fires involving a small quantity of the product, extinguish promptly with foam or dry powder fire extinguishers.
2. For large fires, quickly retreat to a safe distance and extinguish with water jets. Notify the fire department for handling.
