Top-blown Furnace Burner:
The top-blown furnace (AUSMELT T furnace) is a smelting furnace commonly used in non-ferrous smelting processes. Its main combustion equipment mostly adopts pulverized coal oxygen-enriched combustion, and some use natural gas or fuel oil as fuel. The standby burner is a burner that is ignited when the main burner is withdrawn during system standby, furnace lining drying, and other states. Its purpose is to ensure the furnace temperature and prevent furnace temperature drops that may cause casting accidents and damage to the furnace body from rapid cooling and cracking.
Technical Performance of the Top-blown Furnace Main Burner:
1. Fuel types: pulverized coal, diesel, natural gas.
2. Air supply method: oxygen-enriched combustion (oxygen-enriched air with an oxygen content of 25-35% is injected into the furnace with coal air for combustion; pure oxygen combustion or normal air combustion can also be used). Compared with normal combustion, it can save 30-50% energy.
3. Control method: A control system is built with DCS (or PLC) as the core, automatically completing functions such as purging, ignition, fuel supply, automatic combustion regulation, and automatic flameout protection.
4. Structural features: The currently advanced four-channel combustion structure is adopted to ensure uniform pulverized coal injection and accurate diffusion range. Through dual-path adjustment, the angle and area of swirl and straight-flow injection are changed to achieve the purpose of reasonably controlling the flame shape.
