1. Project Overview
The Qinghai Damei Large Equipment Hoisting and Transportation Project is owned by Qinghai Damei Coal Industry Co., Ltd., with a scale of 1.8 million tons/year methanol-to-olefins, 300,000 tons/year polyethylene, 400,000 tons/year polypropylene, and supporting utilities, auxiliary facilities, and necessary off-site works. Our scope of work covers large equipment hoisting and transportation for the project. The number of hoisted equipment items is 73 units/126 pieces, with a hoisting weight of 12,009.1 tons; the number of transported equipment items is 13 units/23 pieces, with a transportation weight of 4,991 tons. A typical hoisted equipment item is the Second Propylene Fractionator, weighing 1,214 t with a length of 89,450 mm, hoisted using a CC6800 1,250-ton crawler crane. A typical transported equipment item is the Product Degassing Silo, weighing 220 tons with a length of 45,700 mm, transported using a 4-file × 16-axle self-propelled hydraulic trailer.

Three sets of plate-type lifting lugs were used to complete the lined upper head flipping of the DMTO unit reactor.
