Wedonay.com Report on Mar 7th, Nir Zuk, founder of Palo Alto Networks, recently announced the launch of Cylake, an AI-native cybersecurity platform designed to provide comprehensive technology stack visibility for large enterprises, replacing difficult-to-integrate on-premise or private cloud security products.

The Cylake platform combines hardware and software components to build an end-to-end cybersecurity system, focusing on addressing AI-related security threats. The startup's website states: "We are developing a complete, AI-native, data-driven cybersecurity platform built on a single data foundation to ensure customers' operational sovereignty."
Zuk founded Palo Alto Networks in 2005 and left the company last August. Under his leadership, Palo Alto Networks grew into a leading enterprise in the cybersecurity field, serving most Fortune 100 companies and enhancing its service capabilities through multiple acquisitions.
The Cylake team also includes Ehud Shamir and Wilson Xu. Shamir co-founded SentinelOne, served as a senior security researcher at Apple, and founded ThreatOptix; Xu served as Executive Vice President of Engineering at Palo Alto Networks for over a decade. The trio has received support from venture capital firm Greylock. Greylock partner Asheem Chandna stated: "We are excited to partner with the Cylake team to build an AI-driven security future for customers with data sovereignty requirements."
The launch of this AI-native cybersecurity platform marks a new advancement in the application of AI technology within the cybersecurity industry, aiming to combat the growing threat of AI-led attacks with AI tools and enhance enterprise security protection capabilities.
