Wedoany.com Report on Mar 14th, China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) that the second domestically-built large cruise ship "Adora Huacheng" completed dock flooding today (14th) and was successfully floated.
After completing the dock flooding and floating procedure, the cruise ship "Adora Huacheng" was laterally shifted and berthed in the forward dock chamber to commence the inclination test. The inclination test is a core technical step for the ship's undocking, used to determine the vessel's weight and center of gravity, which is crucial for the cruise ship's stability, safety, and passenger comfort.
It is reported that the undocking operation will last for seven days. Subsequently, lifeboat release hook tests and dock trials will be conducted to verify the performance of all 18 large lifeboats and 2 rescue boats under both normal and emergency conditions. The "Adora Huacheng" is scheduled to officially undock on March 20th, marking a full transition into the system debugging and interior outfitting completion phase. Sea trials are planned to commence by the end of May, with delivery expected before the end of the year.
