Wedoany.com Report on Mar 17th, Recently, Beijing Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. successfully won the bid for Lot 2 (South) of the Teaching and Research Complex Construction Project (Phase I) of Beijing University of Technology's Fangshan New Campus, with a tender offer of 902,033,203.11 yuan. This building project is located in the Eastern Expansion Area of Liangxiang University Town, Fangshan District, Beijing, with a total construction area of 121,115 square meters. It encompasses various functional areas including public teaching buildings, disciplinary laboratory buildings, faculty dormitories, international student dormitories, dining halls, and basements.

The Fangshan New Campus project of Beijing University of Technology is a crucial part of the university's development, aiming to enhance the level of its teaching and research facilities. The awarded building project includes a 21,198-square-meter public teaching building, a 52,086-square-meter disciplinary laboratory building, a 13,600-square-meter faculty dormitory, a 12,156-square-meter international student dormitory, a 6,166-square-meter dining hall, and a 15,909-square-meter basement. The basement will be used for international student living quarters, equipment rooms, the dining hall, and civil air defense facilities (also serving as a garage).

During the bidding process, Beijing Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. ranked first with its 902 million yuan offer. China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Co., Ltd. came in second with 888 million yuan, and Beijing Urban Construction Northern Group Co., Ltd. ranked third with 914 million yuan.
