en.Wedoany.com Report on Mar 23rd, Yugo Metals Ltd received formal government approval from the Republika Srpska of Bosnia and Herzegovina to advance its 100%-owned Petrovo license area (covering 10 square kilometers). The project is located within the European Tethyan Metallogenic Belt and is described by the company as one of Europe's highest-grade polymetallic mineral systems.

The project features outstanding grades for key minerals. Historical drilling data shows: at a depth of 60 meters in drill hole B-16, a 1.5-meter-thick intercept was found containing 15.0% nickel; at 41.8 meters in drill hole B-6, a 9.35-meter-thick intercept contained a combined 8.2% zinc and lead, along with 0.4% antimony. Recent surface sampling also identified grades of 5.7 g/t gold and 1330 g/t silver.

Historical drilling data is limited; drilling conducted in 1969-1970 analyzed only 21% of the core length and did not systematically test for gold, silver, and cobalt. Yugo Metals plans to immediately commence verification drilling, update the resource estimate according to the JORC 2012 standard, and conduct multi-element analysis. The company stated that the mineralization has extension potential to the southwest.
