The newly produced 1000-ton beam transporter measures 56 meters long, 7 meters wide, and 3 meters high. It employs core mechatronic-hydraulic integration technology, combining mechanical structure, electrical control, and hydraulic drive into one system. It can efficiently handle the heavy-load transportation, precise positioning, and safe transfer of 40-meter precast concrete box girders. The vehicle features a multi-axle, large-tonnage hydraulic suspension design for even load distribution and stable operation. It offers multiple steering modes, including straight-line and crab steering, enabling it to adapt to complex construction environments such as tunnel entrances, roadbeds, and narrow sites. Equipped with an intelligent monitoring and safety protection system, the vehicle achieves real-time posture monitoring, fault warning, and millimeter-level positioning correction, significantly enhancing operational accuracy and safety. It can efficiently coordinate with bridge erection machines to meet the integrated transportation and erection requirements for large-scale projects like high-speed railways and highway bridges.
According to Liu Wei, the Chief Technical Engineer of the company's Vehicle Division, the main structure of the 1000-ton beam transporter consists of four main beam segments spliced together, with the middle section featuring a modular design. When transporting 40-meter box girders, all four segments are assembled. When transporting girders shorter than 40 meters, the middle section is not installed. This approach saves fuel consumption and reduces wear on certain components, offering excellent economic efficiency.
