The core equipment is an automated pallet high-bay warehouse featuring 5 aisles, 14 levels, and a height of 30 meters, equipped with 22,680 storage locations and capable of handling 30 dual cycles per hour.
The new system also includes a robotic palletizing area, transfer cars, stretch wrappers, contour and weight control, and a non-conforming goods platform, with software that automatically configures pallet patterns based on packaging master data, enhancing operational flexibility. The new warehouse management system was switched over without interrupting business operations, running in parallel with the old system.
