Completion of a 109,000-square-meter logistics center in Katowice, Poland
en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 6, South Korean integrated logistics company LX Pantos announced that its logistics center in Katowice, southern Poland, has been completed, with a completion ceremony held recently. The center consists of 5 buildings with a total floor area of approximately 109,000 square meters. It is jointly owned by LX Pantos, Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation (KIND), and PIS No. 2 Fund. The acquisition value previously disclosed for the project was approximately 140 million euros.

The logistics center is located in the Upper Silesia region of Poland, and the park has access to road, rail, and air transport networks. LX Pantos plans to use it as a logistics operation hub for Eastern Europe, mainly providing warehousing and integrated logistics services for cargo categories such as auto parts, consumer goods, and home appliances, and serving the Polish and surrounding European markets.
LX Pantos completed the joint acquisition of this logistics asset in February 2026, when the project was still in the process of phased development and commissioning, and was scheduled to complete all construction in the first half of the year. The project financing also included funding support provided by the Korea Ocean Business Corporation, and a number of international and local Polish companies had previously signed park lease agreements. This completion marks the project's transition from phased construction to full facility operation.
Katowice is located at the intersection of the east-west transport corridor from Germany to Poland to Ukraine and the north-south European transport corridor, with nearby connections to the A1 and A4 highways, as well as rail and airport transport conditions. LX Pantos will subsequently rely on this center to expand its contract logistics and regional distribution business in Eastern Europe.
