en.Wedoany.com Reported - Strata Minerals (ASX: SMX) has reported strong mineralization from the final assay results of its Phase 2 drilling program at the Zelica Gold Project in Western Australia, within a high-grade gold system that remains open in all directions and is expanding in scale.

The latest drilling results further confirm Zelica as a multi-vein gold system of growing scale. The company's existing granted mining leases, nearby processing plant, and development partnership with BML Ventures provide a clear near-term development pathway.

The Phase 2 reverse circulation drilling program comprised 17 holes totaling 2,209 meters, with 16 holes returning significant gold intersections. Combined with the high success rate of 22 out of 23 holes from the initial program, these results further reinforce the continuity of mineralization at Zelica.

Hole SZRC030 encountered anomalous mineralization in a largely untested area, intersecting 12 meters at 2.08 g/t gold from 99 meters depth, including 2 meters at 7.58 g/t gold.

Other intersections from the main vein include: 11 meters at 1.25 g/t gold from 78 meters; 5 meters at 1.84 g/t gold from 102 meters; 4 meters at 1.71 g/t gold from 109 meters; and 2 meters at 2.18 g/t gold from 95 meters.

Strata Minerals Managing Director Peter Woods said the consistency of the intersections, wider and higher-grade intercepts, and further hanging wall vein discoveries have strengthened the company's confidence that Zelica is developing into a multi-vein gold system with district-scale potential.

"Given that mineralization remains open in all directions and less than 15% of the 9.5-kilometer mineralized corridor has been systematically tested, the discovery story at Zelica is still in its very early stages," Woods said. "We are moving quickly and have identified high-priority targets for follow-up drilling."

Stacked Veins

Strata's latest assay results indicate that Zelica has evolved beyond a single-vein gold target. Additional hanging wall intersections, including 1 meter at 3.74 g/t gold from 84 meters in hole SZRC026 and 2 meters at 1.29 g/t gold from 72 meters in hole SZRC027, suggest stacked parallel veins adjacent to the main vein. Oxide and transition zone mineralization now extends approximately 1 kilometer along strike and to a depth of about 115 meters. The broader mineralized corridor spans 9.5 kilometers across Strata's tenure, with most areas remaining under-tested.

Focus on Development Pathway

Strata combines Zelica's exploration potential with a near-term development pathway, supported by granted mining leases, a nearby processing plant, and development partner BML Ventures.

BML Ventures and its principals have agreed to subscribe for up to A$1 million in Strata shares at A$0.0175 per share, subject to shareholder approval.

With BML Ventures on board, Strata said it is advancing Zelica toward near-term production while continuing to test the broader 9.5-kilometer corridor. The company plans further reverse circulation drilling below and along strike of the current vein, air-core drilling to test stacked repetitions east and west of Zelica, and high-resolution magnetic surveys to improve structural targeting across the tenement package. The completed Phase 2 dataset will also be used to compile the maiden JORC resource estimate and development study.
