en.Wedoany.com Reported - Russian Power Machines (Силовые машины) has completed the manufacturing of key components for the innovative F-class gas turbine GTE-65. The first prototype will be delivered to the Perm TETs-14 thermal power plant for the country's first GTE-65 cogeneration project in the fuel and energy complex (TEK).

A delegation from T Plus, led by Pavel Snikkars (Павел Сниккарс), visited the production base in St. Petersburg. The first prototype is now at a high level of readiness, with mechanical processing of casing parts completed and the rotor assembled. The delegation also inspected the workshop for manufacturing hot gas path blades for the gas turbine.

Under standard conditions, the GTE-65.1 has a rated power of 67.7 MW. The turbine will first be tested in open cycle at Perm TETs-14, and then integrated into a combined-cycle gas turbine unit (PGU) with a capacity of 105 MW, which is expected to improve the fuel efficiency of the thermal power plant by more than 1.5 times.

The project is supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. Power Machines' total investment amounts to 25 billion rubles, of which 6.9 billion rubles are state subsidies for research and development. The current annual production capacity is 8 turbines, with plans to increase to 10 units starting in 2029.
