REC Limited Allocates INR 8.44 Crore for Solar Plant in Tamil Nadu

Wedoany.com Report-Feb 13, REC Limited has committed financial assistance of INR 8.44 crore for the establishment of a 1-megawatt multitechnology ground mounted, grid connected solar plant at the Gandhigram Rural Institute in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu.
According to a company statement, REC and the institute have signed a memorandum of agreement under the former’s corporate social responsibility initiative.
The project will be implemented by the GRI in technical collaboration with BHEL.
