en.Wedoany.com Reported - NTT DATA, a global leader in artificial intelligence, digital business, and technology services, announced an expanded partnership with Google Cloud to help enterprises move from AI experimentation to large-scale deployment of agentic AI solutions based on the Gemini Enterprise platform. This collaboration aims to reshape processes, operating models, and customer experiences through AI agents, accelerating AI-driven business transformation.

The initiative integrates Google Cloud's AI, data, and cloud platform capabilities with NTT DATA's global delivery scale and industry expertise, covering strategy, implementation, adoption, managed services, and value creation. Both parties will assist customers in integrating AI into core workflows, aiming to enhance productivity, accelerate return on investment, and ensure AI governance, security, compliance, and responsible use.
As part of the partnership, NTT DATA will establish a global Gemini Enterprise dedicated business unit, supported by joint business planning, technical training, certifications, engineering support, and co-marketing investments. The company aims to certify 5,000 Gemini Enterprise experts worldwide. This business unit will help customers accelerate deployment, deepen adoption, and generate more reproducible enterprise value paths through Gemini Enterprise. This includes a joint roadmap to co-innovate up to 500 AI agents, covering horizontal and industry-specific use cases, creating reusable components to facilitate rapid and scalable AI applications.
NTT DATA will rapidly design, develop, and deploy AI solutions across various business processes. This expanded partnership with Google Cloud represents a new model for enterprise AI deployment, merging technological innovation, engineering depth, and industry expertise into an integrated approach. The two companies will drive joint innovation teams comprising thousands of AI expert engineers, engineers deployed directly alongside customers, and specialists from different industries to develop enterprise-grade AI solutions. These teams will work directly with customers to accelerate solution development, support deployment, and address complex technical challenges in real time, thereby reducing time-to-value and accelerating production adoption.
The initiative supports the development of AI agents for industries such as banking, insurance, manufacturing, and retail, covering process reengineering, accelerating cloud migration and software development, and optimizing marketing, procurement, and financial operations performance. Key components of the initiative include: industrialized development and deployment of agents—adopting a global factory model combining reusable assets, engineering talent, and joint innovation processes; joint engineering and innovation teams—integrated teams of NTT DATA experts and Google Cloud engineers to prototype, operationalize, and scale high-value use cases; AI that ensures sovereignty, security, and compliance from the outset—supporting sovereign AI deployments that meet data residency, regulatory, and compliance requirements, leveraging Google Cloud's capabilities and NTT DATA's global leadership in data centers and managed services; pre-configured and industry-specific agent solutions—a growing catalog of AI agents and reusable accelerators designed for specific industries to accelerate deployment, reduce risk, and shorten time-to-value.
Abhijit Dubey, CEO and Chief AI Officer of NTT DATA, Inc., stated that enterprises need a practical way to scale AI adoption, strengthen governance, empower employees, and create measurable business value. This expanded alliance helps customers move beyond pilot projects, embedding AI into their operations to create faster, lower-risk paths to comprehensive business transformation. Matt Renner, President and Chief Revenue Officer of Google Cloud, noted the immense demand for AI agents that can fundamentally change core business processes. This expanded alliance combines Google Cloud's AI platform with NTT DATA's execution capabilities, developing hundreds of agents and training thousands of experts to ensure mutual customers have the specialized resources needed to deploy advanced AI solutions globally.
While many organizations have made progress in AI adoption, few have truly scaled AI at the enterprise level to transform how work is done. Challenges include governance, workforce training, use case prioritization, deployment planning, and the ability to link adoption to business outcomes. José Manuel Peláez, Head of Alliances for Consulting at NTT DATA Iberia, IO, Latam, and Benelux & France, stated that the challenge for organizations is no longer experimenting with AI but industrializing it. The goal is to scale AI integration as a strategic capability, supported by processes, talent, governance, and metrics. He emphasized that trust is the decisive factor in accelerating adoption, and enterprises need to deploy solutions that ensure security, compliance, and data sovereignty.
According to a recent NTT DATA study of its customers, 99% of enterprises indicated that AI is driving greater demand for cloud investments. At the same time, 88% said current cloud investment levels jeopardize AI, modernization, and cloud-native technology initiatives. NTT DATA's expanded partnership with Google Cloud aims to bridge this gap, aligning AI ambitions with the scalable, secure cloud infrastructure needed to achieve results.
