Vice Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee, Hoang Chi Nguyen, stated at the ceremony that the project has a designed installed capacity of 50 MW and a total investment of nearly 2.5 trillion Vietnamese dong, to be implemented in the province's coastal area. Once completed and operational, the project will supply clean power to Vietnam's national electricity system, contributing to energy security, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, creating jobs, increasing budget revenue, and promoting local socio-economic development.
