en.Wedoany.com Reported - Resonia Ltd., a leading transmission infrastructure company, has secured an Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) project under the Kurnool IV Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) Transmission Company Limited project from the Ministry of Power, India.

The project aims to enhance transmission connectivity between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, improve grid flexibility, and enable large-scale evacuation of renewable energy from the Kurnool Renewable Energy Zone. The transmission infrastructure, spanning approximately 120 km, will support the evacuation of about 3 GW of renewable energy under Phase II of the Kurnool IV REZ plan. The scope of work includes constructing a 765/400 kV Doma substation, expanding the existing Kurnool-IV pooling station, and building associated high-capacity transmission systems.

The project also involves LILO (Line-In Line-Out) of the Kurnool-IV–Bidar 765 kV double-circuit line at Doma, as well as two 400 kV double-circuit transmission lines connecting the Doma substation to TGTRANSCO's existing Shadnagar and Kethiredipally substations.

Prashant Sinha, CEO of Resonia Ltd., stated that the project holds significant strategic importance for the company, highlighting the growing need to build robust inter-state transmission infrastructure to support India's energy transition. As renewable energy capacity expands rapidly, resilient, high-capacity transmission systems are crucial for seamless power evacuation and grid stability. Through the Kurnool IV REZ project, the company supports regional and national decarbonization goals while enabling efficient clean energy integration. This award reflects the company's execution capabilities and its commitment to building future-ready transmission networks to support clean energy expansion.

This development solidifies Resonia's position as a key player in India's power transmission sector, contributing to grid resilience, inter-state power flow, and large-scale renewable energy integration.
