en.Wedoany.com Reported - Sinoboom has launched two 27-meter spider lifts, including the diesel-powered SPA27J and the battery-powered SPA27EJ.

The SPA27J series features a three-section telescopic lower arm that can lift almost vertically, connected to a three-section upper arm and an articulated jib at the top, achieving a maximum working height of 27 meters. The maximum horizontal reach is 14.5 meters, achievable at an overhead clearance height of 13.5 meters with a basket load of 120 kg; or slightly over 12 meters of reach with a maximum platform load of 230 kg, both requiring a wide outrigger spread of 4.7 meters.

With a narrow outrigger spread of 2.97 meters, the horizontal reaches are 11 meters and 9 meters, respectively. The equipment can level itself on slopes of up to 10 degrees, with outrigger lifting capability of up to 500 mm.

The overall stowed length is 5.8 meters, reducing to 4.95 meters after removing the 1.4 m × 800 mm platform. The overall width is 900 mm, expanding outward and downward to 1.14 meters on each side to enhance on-site travel stability. The overall height is 1.99 meters, rising to 2.11 meters when the tracks are extended. The diesel version weighs 3.9 tons, while the SPA27EJ weighs 4.5 tons.

Other features include 360-degree continuous rotation, 180-degree platform rotation, standard non-marking rubber tracks, an intuitive graphical user interface, real-time status and fault diagnostics, and one-button drive and stow functions. The company states that many components are shared with Sinoboom's self-propelled boom lift range.

The SPA27J uses a three-cylinder Kubota diesel engine for outdoor operations, while also being equipped with an AC motor that allows it to be powered by standard household electricity for indoor use. The battery-powered SPA27EJ is equipped with a 15.3 kWh lithium battery, rechargeable via a standard 230V power supply.

These new spider lifts are available for orders from all countries except the United States, continental Europe, and Australia, although the specifications indicate they comply with CE standards.

Product manager Hyman Yu stated that the development of the SPA27EJ and SPA27J aims to meet customer demands for flexible and versatile aerial work solutions in complex spaces such as shopping malls, transportation hubs, and construction sites. These machines provide a reliable and easy-to-operate solution for a variety of scenarios.

Vertikal commented that this appears to be a very practical piece of equipment, benefiting from Sinoboom's experience gained through collaboration with the Danish company Falcon, which launched the first spider lift but entered administration two years later.

The lower arm can rise to nearly 90 degrees, thereby maintaining maximum horizontal reach regardless of the overhead clearance height; although there is a slight decrease, it is minimal. Some spider lifts or self-propelled articulated boom lifts experience a significant reduction in horizontal reach when the boom is extended.

This market is now becoming crowded, but Sinoboom may be able to stimulate greater interest in spider lifts in markets such as the Middle East, Asia, and South America.
