en.Wedoany.com Reported - Recently, Zoomlion Heavy Industry's independent directors Zhang Chenghu, Huang Guobin, Wu Baohai, and Huang Jun conducted an on-site research visit at the company's intelligent aerial work platform factory in Tatabánya, Hungary. The company's Vice President Shen Ke and Board Secretary Tao Zhaobo accompanied the visit. The four independent directors went deep into the front line of overseas operations to conduct on-the-ground research on the implementation quality and operational status of the company's major overseas investment projects.

During the research visit, the independent directors and their delegation went deep into the factory's production front line, inspecting the operation of the scissor-type and boom-type aerial work platform assembly lines, learning in detail about the equipment commissioning, production ramp-up, and digital application status in the commissioning yard, warehousing and logistics areas, and parts center, and exchanging views with on-site management personnel on equipment commissioning progress and quality control processes.

At the subsequent symposium, the directors listened to detailed reports from the factory's relevant managers on base construction, production ramp-up, supply chain support, human resource management, and the development of the EU market service system, and conducted in-depth exchanges with the factory management team and Hungarian employee representatives.

Focusing on the construction of overseas manufacturing bases, the independent directors paid special attention to supply chain localization, compliant operations, and organizational capability building. The factory's relevant managers introduced that supply chain procurement is coordinated centrally by the headquarters, with resource allocation carried out in light of the actual conditions in Europe, China, and other regions; in local operations, the factory is continuously promoting the integration of Chinese management experience with local laws, regulations, and cultural practices, strengthening the recruitment, training, and communication mechanisms for local employees, and enhancing the synergy efficiency of Chinese and foreign teams. The independent directors conducted in-depth discussions on how the factory recruits and retains local employees and integrates into the local community, and offered corresponding suggestions.

Regarding market development and service support capabilities, the independent directors further learned about the strategic positioning and future plans of the Hungarian factory. The factory will be based on the European market, continuously improving local manufacturing, parts supply, service training, and market response capabilities, accelerating the building of a regional platform for the coordinated development of manufacturing, services, training, and parts support, and on this basis further expanding into the North American market.

The independent directors expressed their recognition of the phased progress achieved by the Hungarian factory in plant renovation, production line construction, and the building of full-chain capabilities in production, sales, and services, and stated that the Hungarian factory is a vivid practice and important achievement of Zoomlion Heavy Industry's aerial work machinery business in deepening the company's internationalization strategy and accelerating its integration into the global industrial ecosystem through the "1+N" manufacturing and service model. Its exploration and experience in local manufacturing, supply chain collaboration, talent management, and compliant operations can provide useful reference for other product lines of the company in advancing overseas localization development. The independent directors put forward constructive suggestions on accelerating production ramp-up, improving the service network, and strengthening the local supply chain and talent team building.

As Zoomlion Heavy Industry's intelligent manufacturing base for aerial work platforms in Europe, the Hungarian factory covers an area of approximately 250 mu. The factory is being built in two phases. Phase I mainly utilizes existing plant buildings to construct assembly and commissioning lines for scissor-type and boom-type aerial work platforms as well as warehousing and logistics systems. Since it was put into operation, it has significantly improved the company's distribution response efficiency for aerial work machinery in the European region and continuously consolidated Zoomlion Heavy Industry's localized manufacturing capabilities for its aerial work machinery business in Europe. Phase II construction is currently underway in a well-organized and orderly manner.

This overseas research visit is an important measure for Zoomlion Heavy Industry to improve corporate governance and strengthen the effectiveness of independent directors in performing their duties. The four independent directors went deep into the front line of overseas operations, conducting serious inquiries and assessments on key issues such as supply chain security, compliance risks, and production capacity pace of major overseas investment projects. Through on-site inspections and face-to-face exchanges, the independent directors gained a more intuitive and in-depth understanding of the implementation of the company's globalization strategy in the European market, providing important decision-making references for further optimizing the global business layout and improving the quality of overseas operations.
