en.Wedoany.com Reported - Green infrastructure developer NatPower Group has signed a multi-year supply and execution agreement with Tesla to advance the deployment of over 25 GWh of battery energy storage projects in Europe. This Italy-UK energy storage deployment project is the first phase of NatPower's larger European energy storage plan, with facilities to be located across five sites in Italy and the UK.

Under the agreement, Tesla will supply Megapack energy storage systems and undertake engineering, procurement, construction, and trading services. Once completed, the projects will be owned and operated by NatPower. NatPower stated that the initial 25 GWh of storage capacity is part of its 100 GWh European energy storage plan, with an overall investment scale estimated between $4 billion and $5 billion.

Upon completion of the 100 GWh energy storage deployment plan, it is expected to generate over $15 billion in revenue over 20 years. As the 25 GWh energy storage deployment project moves into the execution phase, engineering demand will continue to be released in the European markets for battery energy storage, power conversion systems, grid interconnection, energy trading services, and long-term operations and maintenance.
