en.Wedoany.com Reported - The research and production enterprise "NefteKhimProm" (НефтеХимПром) has launched industrial production of nitrilotris(methylenephosphonic acid) (NTF) solution in the city of Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol Krai. The project was implemented with support from the Russian Industrial Development Fund, with total investments of 250 million rubles, including 180 million rubles in concessional loans for the procurement of a key Russian-made process unit.

NefteKhimProm (НефтеХимПром) begins industrial production of NTF acid for the fuel and energy complex

On the new equipment, the enterprise produces NTF solution with a concentration of 48-52% using phosphorous acid, ammonium sulfate, and formalin. Upon reaching full capacity, annual output can reach 2,400 tons, potentially capturing approximately 73% of the Russian market.

NTF acid has promising applications in several industrial sectors: oil extraction for protecting equipment from salt deposits, thermal power generation for corrosion and scale prevention, construction for slowing concrete setting, and the pulp and paper industry for pulp bleaching. Potential customers include major fuel and energy complex enterprises such as Tatneft (Татнефть), Russia's Gazprom (Газпром), Lukoil (Лукойл), and Rosneft (Роснефть).

According to the company's General Director, Artyom Manaenko (Артём Манаенко), NTF was previously produced only on a small scale in pilot units. The new production line now enables the company to meet the needs of most Russian customers.
