Appointed as head of the Kakao AI Sail Center in May this year, Kim Young-duk is an expert in venture investment and support. He founded Gmarket and previously served as CEO of D.CAMP, a youth startup foundation under the banking sector, and at Lotte Ventures (formerly Lotte Accelerator).

Earlier, in March this year, Kakao had already signed an MOU with the four major science and technology institutes on fostering regional talent.
