en.Wedoany.com Reported - A survey conducted by Loggi in partnership with Opinion Box for the second edition of "The E-commerce Path" reveals that 55% of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Brazil plan to invest in artificial intelligence over the next 12 months, as AI increasingly becomes a priority on the corporate growth agenda.
Juliana Fracchia, Executive Director of Revenue and Customer Operations at Loggi, stated that the more technology is integrated with sales and logistics operations for parcel delivery, the greater the gains for companies in terms of efficiency, predictability, and business scalability. Although marketing and content still lead investment intentions at 61%, the survey indicates a shift toward more strategic business areas: management and planning (46%), followed by sales (40%) and data analysis (37%). This trend also reaches traditionally less digitized fields, such as product development (28%) and operations and logistics (24%).
When adopting technology, entrepreneurs prioritize solutions that offer more guaranteed returns and are simple to implement. Cost-effectiveness (53%), ease of use (52%), and productivity gains (50%) are the main decision-making factors. Factors such as data security (36%), integration with existing systems (26%), and supplier reputation (16%) carry less weight. Juliana Fracchia emphasized that entrepreneurs seek solutions that deliver quick results and are easy to implement, and that integration between ERP, store platforms, and logistics is precisely where the competitive advantage lies, reinforced by the strategic use of artificial intelligence.
The survey was conducted between February and March 2026, interviewing over 150 e-commerce entrepreneurs across Brazil, with annual revenues ranging from 80,000 reais to 5 million reais.
