This acquisition strengthens PLS's market position and brings international freight service capabilities to its customer base.

Upon completion of the acquisition, PLS can now offer customers international freight solutions including drayage, ocean freight, and customs brokerage, in addition to its existing domestic full truckload, less-than-truckload, transportation management system (TMS), and managed services.

Greg Burns, Chairman and CEO of PLS, stated that AGL Group has a strong presence in ocean freight and customs brokerage, and its management team, led by CEO Steve Zambo, will join PLS. Steve Zambo added that the AGL team looks forward to further growth opportunities as part of a billion-dollar organization, and that this merger will create new opportunities for customers and employees.
