en.Wedoany.com Reported - Recently, a power generation ceremony was held for the Guayasamín Museum Solar-Storage Integrated Demonstration Project, led and co-donated by the Chinese Embassy in Ecuador, with joint support from Chinese and Ecuadorian enterprises. Over 200 people attended the event, including Chinese Ambassador to Ecuador Sun Xiangyang, Ecuadorian political, business, and cultural figures, as well as representatives from Chinese enterprises. With the lighting ceremony initiated, the photovoltaic power generation system, jointly donated by the Chinese side, constructed by PowerChina, and equipped with Huawei's intelligent energy storage system, was officially put into operation.

In his speech, Ambassador Sun Xiangyang stated that to express support for Ecuador's cultural endeavors and to pay tribute to the Guayasamín Foundation's contributions to promoting China-Ecuador people-to-people exchanges, the Chinese side, in collaboration with local enterprises, donated this solar-storage power generation system to the museum. He expressed the hope that the light of technology and the beauty of art would complement each other, writing a new chapter in China-Ecuador mutual learning between civilizations.

This solar-storage integrated project can provide a stable power supply of nearly 100,000 kWh annually, helping the Guayasamín Museum achieve 100% direct green electricity supply. It sets a benchmark for the low-carbon transformation of cultural facilities in Ecuador and highlights the vibrant vitality of green development concepts.
