China Huangling Mining 2×1000MW Project Unit 1 Boiler Successfully Ignited

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On June 29, 2026, the boiler of Unit 1 of China's Huangling Mining 2×1000MW project was successfully ignited for the first time, with stable combustion in the furnace and normal operation of all systems. This project is a provincial key project aimed at promoting the industrial transformation and upgrading of Yan'an City. Upon completion, it is expected to generate 11 billion kWh of electricity annually, with an annual output value of approximately 4 billion yuan, playing a significant role in facilitating the local conversion of Huangling coal resources, leveraging the agglomeration effect of coal-fired power, and driving the high-quality development of the Yan'an old revolutionary base area.

To ensure a successful first ignition, Shaanxi Coal Group Huangling Mining Juyuan Power Generation Company, in collaboration with the commissioning unit, developed a systematic operation plan and emergency response plan, detailing standard operating procedures, risk classification and control measures, and contingency handling measures. During the ignition process, operators strictly followed the operating procedures, precisely adjusted key operating parameters, and monitored various technical indicators of the furnace in real time, forming a closed-loop management of "operation-monitoring-verification." All indicators throughout the process met the design standards.

As the first million-kilowatt unit power plant of Shaanxi Coal Group within the province, the company closely adhered to the overall goal of "dual-unit dual-commissioning," coordinated and integrated resources from all participating parties including design, construction, supervision, and commissioning, established an efficient collaborative working mechanism of "daily scheduling and weekly review," reversed the construction schedule, and implemented targeted operations to overcome difficulties. It carried out refined control over the entire process of boiler equipment installation and subsystem commissioning, completing this important task on schedule with high standards.

The Huangling Mining 2×1000MW project is the first million-kilowatt unit power plant of Shaanxi Coal Group in Shaanxi Province. The successful ignition of Unit 1's boiler has laid a solid foundation for the subsequent overall startup of the unit and the realization of the "dual-unit dual-commissioning" goal.
