en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Chinese Nuclear Society and the Ankara Chamber of Industry (ASO) of Turkey recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen exchanges and collaboration in the nuclear energy sector. The MoU was jointly signed by the Chinese Nuclear Society (CNS) and the Nuclear Industry Cluster (ASO NÜKSAK), coordinated by the Ankara Chamber of Industry, marking further progress in cooperation between nuclear energy institutions in China and Turkey.
The signing took place during the 12th Nuclear Power Plant Summit. Under the MoU, both parties will promote institutionalized cooperation between China and Turkey in the nuclear energy field, expand information and experience sharing, and foster a more sustainable partnership between the nuclear energy ecosystems of the two countries.
The MoU was signed by Liu Jianqiao, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Chinese Nuclear Society, and Professor Yavuz Cabbar, General Coordinator of the Ankara Chamber of Industry. The agreement covers exchanges related to new nuclear power projects, including online and offline meetings, industry dialogues, and thematic seminars on Small Modular Reactors (SMRs).
Both parties also plan to collaborate in nuclear energy education, human resource development, and expert support. The agreement further proposes strengthening technical information sharing and exploring new areas of cooperation based on mutual consensus, creating more opportunities for future nuclear energy projects and industrial chain synergy.
