en.Wedoany.com Reported - The 4th International Workshop on Injection Technology for Tunnelling will be held on September 16–17, 2026, at the Hagerbach Test Gallery in Flums, Switzerland. Organized by Webac AG, the workshop aims to explore the planning, implementation, and quality control of chemical grouting technology in tunnel construction.

Located in the Flums region of the Canton of St. Gallen in eastern Switzerland, the Hagerbach Test Gallery is a renowned underground test and research facility in the international tunnelling sector. It features multiple test tunnels under varying geological conditions, providing an ideal on-site environment for the development and testing of grouting technology, waterproofing systems, and tunnel construction techniques. The workshop will be held within this facility, combining theoretical lectures with live demonstrations to offer participants a technical exchange platform closely aligned with real-world engineering practices.
The workshop will focus on the current applications of chemical grouting technology in different tunnelling methods, covering key topics such as minimizing time loss and optimizing resources, quality assurance and continuous monitoring, best practice workflows, and enhancing industry reputation. Confirmed speakers include Felix Amberg of the Amberg Group (Switzerland) and Ph.D. Ing. Karel Rössler of Metrostav a.s. (Czech Republic).
Due to limited participant capacity, early registration is recommended. The workshop is organized and coordinated by Harald Schmitt, Manager of Tunnelling and Waterproofing Technology at Webac AG. Following several successful previous editions held at venues such as the Recklinghausen Training Mine in Germany, this workshop marks the first time it will be held at the Hagerbach Test Gallery in Switzerland.
Switzerland boasts world-leading tunnelling expertise, with landmark projects such as the Gotthard Base Tunnel representing the highest standards in the country's tunnel construction sector. This workshop will further promote the standardization and innovative application of chemical grouting technology in tunnelling, providing technical support for safe, efficient, and sustainable tunnel construction.
