en.Wedoany.com Reported - Cognizant (Nasdaq: CTSH) has entered into a strategic partnership with Domyn, a European leader in sovereign AI infrastructure for regulated industries, to provide sovereign AI capabilities to organizations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This collaboration aims to help organizations in highly regulated industries deploy AI solutions while keeping data within their own environments and meeting European regulatory framework requirements.

Domyn provides end-to-end AI systems, including computing power, proprietary models, governance, and AI agents. Cognizant, as an AI builder and global systems integrator with deep relationships with EMEA enterprises, is responsible for applications, integration, and domain-specific execution layers. Domyn will deliver large language models (LLMs) deployable within customer environments (on-premises or private cloud configurations); Cognizant will train and fine-tune these models to generate smaller, domain-specific models (SLMs), develop AI agents and applications for specific industry use cases, and build the legacy data pipelines, data cleansing, and model tuning required for internal organizational deployment. The two companies will jointly execute a go-to-market strategy targeting customers in the UK and Ireland, the DACH region, Nordics, Southern Europe, and the Middle East.

For enterprise customers, this partnership offers a fully integrated sovereign AI solution. Organizations can access advanced AI models and infrastructure while retaining control over their data and benefiting from Cognizant's capabilities in guiding complex business transformations, implementing human oversight compliance frameworks, and achieving measurable business outcomes. According to Gartner's analysis in the report "AI Vendor Race: True Sovereign AI Will Determine Winners and Losers in the Cloud AI Race" (by Rene Buest and Fernando Pereiro, February 24, 2026), geopolitical dynamics are driving demand for sovereign AI solutions, with 50% of cloud AI workloads expected to run through sovereign cloud AI deployment models by 2029, up from 5% in 2025.

Manoj Mehta, President of Cognizant EMEA, stated that sovereign AI represents a significant growth opportunity in the EMEA region and that Cognizant is uniquely positioned to play a leading role. Uljan Sharka, CEO of Domyn, noted that the next wave of AI in Europe will be won by organizations that own and control the intelligence at the core of their businesses.

This partnership aligns with Cognizant's AI builder strategy, which encompasses three pillars: boosting hyper-productivity, industrializing AI, and transforming enterprises with AI agents, and is supported by over 60 AI patents, more than 1,500 industry-specific AI agents, and dedicated AI labs in San Francisco and Bangalore. Domyn, in collaboration with NVIDIA and the UAE, is building one of the largest AI supercomputers in regulated industries. The initial focus of the partnership will be on customers in the EMEA region.
